The truth is that the taste of inner tranquility of Holy Ones is indeed inexplicable; it goes beyond all descriptions of human languages, as does Nirvāna. Each day the four major races of people are prayed for; children, adolescents, adults and elders are prayed for; those who swim, fly, crawl, the green and growing things, and the stone people are prayed for; each of the four sacred directions, the powers of those directions, and the elements are prayed for. This downfall is complete when we actually commit a self-punishing act and experience, as a result, a diminution of whatever level of physical and mental blissful awareness we have attained.

Central to the Eightfold path is the practice of meditation, of which there are many forms. In Japanese, the term by which devotees call on Amitabha Buddha. Amitabha Buddha is an important Bohisattva in the Mahayana form of Buddhism called Pure Land. We entered the back door of the building where I was instructed to remove my shoes and wait. The wheel consists of three basic parts: the hub, the rim, and spokes (generally eight in number).
