Circle Safety & Health Consultants Pauline Kerwath pauline@circlesafety.com 804-355-7255 With his comprehensive grasp of computers, servers, printers, phones, and peripherals combined with an equally impressive grasp of programs, software, and systems design and maintenance, Brian Evans is known in our office as the Magic Man. He is always thinking ahead, managing and adjusting programs that serve our current needs, and researching programs, systems, and computers to answer our future needs. He offers swift and courteous service, as well as innovation, confidentiality, excellence, and good advice.Brian seems to thrive on challenges. So, although our small business has come up with some wild problems for him to fix over the years, we’ve never yet produced one that was beyond him!
Be More Not Less, LLC Barbara Lanebrown Barbara@BeMoreNotLess.com Brian has been invaluable to me and my business partner over the past 7 years. He created our website, working closely with and educating us so we could make good decisions. He helped us find a designer for our logo and then turned our logo into a moving masthead for our website.
Through the years he has helped us design our brochures, find equipment, learn software, think through creative projects – the list goes on. Besides being truly helpful across so many dimensions, Brian is a joy to work with. We all work hard together, but we also have fun – a necessity for us! I’d be happy to say more about him.
Whipped Dog Straight Razors Larry Andreassen LarryAndro@GMail.com 817-483-9631 I own and operate a small business selling straight razors and shaving equipment. Brian Evans is the software developer for my business website WhippedDog.com. While I have never met Brian, his work has been above average.

Several years ago, I hired a web developer to create WhippedDog.com. Recently, I hired Brian using the VWorker.com service to further development on my website. This was a necessary, but stressful process, a little like being a stranger, and finding a mechanic that can be trusted to work for reasonable wage, and perform quality work. Brian Evans was a good choice.

There are three phases to our work together that should be mentioned. His day to day responses to software bugs, and enhancement requests, has been pleasant and prompt. I am sure the way I presented my requests to Brian was frustrating to him. Typically, when encountered, I simply sent him an email message. There was no prioritization, and very little effort made to present the information consistently and coherently. Brian has never complained. And, in fact has done quite well at prioritizing my requests, something I should have been doing.

Another phase of work to be mentioned is web development. After some period of time spent fixing and patching my original website, Brian completely replaced the site with new software and a revamped graphical user interface. Some guidance on features and design was given Brian. Largely, the design of the new site was the responsibility given to him. A review of WhippedDog.com will suffice as evidence of the good job done.

Brian Evans is a good software developer. His work on my site was excellent.

The final phase of our work together to be mentioned is his willingness to negotiate work terms. Undoubtedly, I am not paying Brian Evans what he is worth. As a very small home business owner, a business run in my spare time apart from my full time job, there isn’t much money available. Brian and I agreed on terms that were financially acceptable and even advantageous to me at this time. My business is slowly, but steadily expanding. Our agreement includes better payment for Brian as my sales increase.

Many developers would not be willing to negotiate, and accept the terms Brian and I have agreed to. This demonstrates how easy he has been to work with. Brian’s trust in me was also much appreciated.

Even though I have never met Brian, I am confident in recommending him to whoever might read this. Feel free to contact me with questions.
LB Assets Liam Bowmer admin@lb-assets.co.uk Brian ticks all the boxes when it comes to project development.

I was amazed with the quality and speed of his work. He has met all the deadlines I put forward no problem……even when I have added bits on the way!

Brian takes a real interest in what he is doing, and he gets actively involved in our projects by making highly valuable suggestions where appropriate. In addition, he maintains frequent first-rate communication so we know exactly how our projects are progressing at all times.

Brian is now the #1 person I go to for all our PHP/MySQL/Javascript based projects, as I recognize that he is a truly rare find.
